The Denali Highway: The Complete Drive Westbound

It’s not a short video, or a short drive, but I think you’ll enjoy cruising along Alaska’s Denali Highway (Route 8) from Paxson to Cantwell, Alaska. This video takes you westbound, and yes, there is some rain, but don’t get discouraged. Just fast-forward a bit and you’ll find sunshine. Or watch the eastbound version for fewer raindrops on the lens.

I made this trip in May/June, 2016. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera, mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
