Tampa to Lakeland and Bartow on I-275, I-4, Polk Parkway
This drive takes you from the Town ‘n Country area of Tampa towards the center of the state. From the Tampa Airport area, I took Interstate 275 into downtown Tampa, then used Interstate 4 to continue eastbound towards Polk County. Getting close to Lakeland, Florida, I turned onto Toll Route 570, the Polk Parkway which circles around the south side of the city, to US 98, which would take me on to State Road 60 for the drive on across the state of Florida.
I made this trip in September 2018.
