This drive begins in Elkford, British Columbia, and heads south on Highway 43 to Sparwood, then east on Crowsnest Highway 3, over the pass and into Alberta. Instead of returning directly to Pincher Creek, I took a detour down to Beauvais Lake Provincial Park, to see the frozen lake.
