At the end of my day in the Lake Tahoe area, I was looking for a good place to view the lake and enjoy a sunset. I ended up discovering that there aren’t many places where you can actually see the lake! From South Lake Tahoe, I drove up to Sugar Pine Point State Park, then back to Bliss State Park (where they demanded $10 for me to stay for five minutes and take a picture of the lake), and then I drove back to Eagle Falls.

I made this trip in June 2018. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
