A Snowy Homestake Pass, Montana, and the drive from Bozeman to Butte – Dashcam Driving
It’s probably not a smart move to drive towards a big winter storm, but when I heard an early-season snow was coming to Montana in late September, I decided to drive to Butte to experience it. The drive to Butte, from Bozeman on Interstate 90, was very wet and sloppy, but Homestake Pass (just outside of Butte) was a winter wonderland, mixed with some fall colors.
I made this trip in September 2019.
