A drive around Beckley, West Virginia
This is a nostalgic drive for me. I used to live in the Beckley area. When I returned in 2017, I decided to drive around a few places that used to be familiar: the shopping malls, the skating rink, old restaurants and old neighborhoods. Now, many of these places have changed. If you aren’t familiar with Beckley, this video probably won’t mean much to you. But if you’re from there, I hope that you’ll see a few things you remember, and enjoy the ride.

I made this trip in August-September 2017. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
