US 321 in North Carolina: Hickory to Blowing Rock Dashcam Drive
This drive begins in Hickory, North Carolina, as I started a day on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the nearest reasonably-priced motel I could find. In other words, I had a pretty long drive before getting back to the Parkway, which took me up US 321 into the Appalachian mountains. From Hickory, US 321 northbound passes through Lenoir, and then continues up the ridge to Blowing Rock, and ends as I enter the parkway.
I made this trip in August-September 2019.
