Looping the Chicago Loop: A Drive Underneath the CTA’s “L” Train Tracks
It’s fun and a little scary to drive underneath the elevated train tracks of Chicago’s famed Loop. Here’s a look at that drive, starting at the Chicago River. One of the four roads that make up the loop is one-way the wrong way, so I had to take another road and loop around (pun intended) in order to finish the loop.
I made this trip in March, 2020, just shortly before the world went crazy and we all had to stop going places.
