On my way back into Salt Lake City at the end of my vacation, I was planning to drive I-15 into town, but a tragic plane crash shut down the highway. So, not knowing exactly where I was headed, I took a detour, between exit 344 and 338.
After getting around that mess, I continued on to I-15 to I-215 to Utah 171, where I found an empty parking lot to disassemble my cameras and pack up for the drive to the airport.

I made this trip in July 2017. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
