Northern Montana has numerous interesting cities and towns that sprung up along the “Hi-Line” railroad line and US Highway 2. In between, there’s a lot of empty space, so I’ve edited that part out, leaving you with my Drivelapse around each of these towns, in this order:
East Glacier Park Village
Galata (almost missed this one!)
Savoy (on a dirt-road detour that follows the railroad tracks)
US 2 continues east from Malta, but I had to turn south and head to Billings.

I made this trip in July 2017. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
