This drive takes you from Soldotna, Alaska, southbound down the Kenai Peninsula to Homer, Alaska, via the Sterling Highway (Alaska Route 1). The video passes over the westernmost stretch of road in North America (I didn’t realize it, and I missed the photo-op at the sign a few miles north of Homer). The drive ends at an overlook just outside Homer — for the drive out the Spit you’ll need to watch another video!
