Chicago to Gary, Indiana on the Dan Ryan Expressway & Chicago Skyway
Would you ever consider driving from Chicago to Gary, Indiana, just for fun? I did. And I’m not sure I’d recommend it. But if you’re curious what that drive looks like, here it is. The drive follows Interstates 94 and 90 over the Dan Ryan Expressway and Chicago Skyway, which takes you into Indiana and forces you to pay an exorbitant toll. As the name suggests, the Skyway is, indeed, elevated for much of the way. The drive ends as I pull into Gary, Indiana. If you’d like to see more of Gary, I’ve posted my drive around town in a separate video.
