Charlotte to Winston Salem on I-85, US 52, North Carolina Dashcam
Here’s a look at a route that was actually a mistake for me. I was distracted and didn’t realize I had passed the turnoff for Interstate 77 Northbound from the Charlotte area. Several miles later on I-485, I realized my mistake and decided it wasn’t worth backtracking, so I took I-85 to I-285 to US 52, into Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This alternate route actually allowed me to drive up Pilot Mountain for sunset (that part of the ride is in a separate video — this one just takes you into Winston Salem). Enjoy the ride!
