Calumet to Hancock and Houghton on Michigan 26 Dashcam
This drive takes you down part of M-26 on the Keweenaw Peninsula. The drive starts in Calumet, and follows M-26 south to Lake Linden. I made a detour to Hungarian Falls (that’s the dirt road that you’ll see) then continued on to Hancock and up to Quincy Mine, before crossing the bridge over to Houghton for dinner.

I made this trip in October 2017. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
