Blue Ridge Parkway Drive: Northbound from Asheville to Fancy Gap Dashcam Drive

The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of America’s great scenic drives. In this video, we take a drive northbound on the Blue Ridge Parkway, starting near Asheville, North Carolina, and traveling all the way to Fancy Gap, Virginia. This drive took me two days, with an overnight stop around Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

You’ll also notice that this video is shot by the rear-facing camera on my car. I actually drove this route southbound. This video is reversed, to allow you to see everything in the northbound direction. If that view bothers you, you might prefer the southbound clips of the Blue Ridge Parkway that are posted to my channel. You may also see a little more from the various outlooks along the parkway on the front-facing camera.

I made this trip in August-September 2019.
