Bear River Valley, Idaho and Utah: Scenic Drive on Routes 36 and 23 to Weston
I had no idea what awaited me when I turned off Interstate 15 in southern Idaho. I was bored with the interstate, so I took Idaho Route 36 east and south into the Bear River Valley. Along the way, I passed through the town of Weston, then crossed over into Utah, where the route changed to Utah 23. The drive ends at Cutler Reservoir, where my batteries died. That’s okay, because it was almost dark anyhow.
I made this trip in September – October 2019.
