Across the Everglades on the Tamiami Trail, US 41, Westbound
Instead of Alligator Alley (I-75), you can take a trip across the everglades on US 41. Also known as the Tamiami Trail (because it connects Tampa and Miami), US 41 cuts across the southern end of Florida and skirts the northern boundary of Everglades National Park. This drive takes you westbound, from the Miami area to the Naples area, on the Tamiami Trail.
