A Drive out to the Kaymoor Long Point Hiking Trail, from Fayetteville
If you’re in the Fayetteville, West Virginia area, you probably want to take advantage of some of the great hiking in the New River Gorge. Here’s a look at how to find the Kaymoor Trailhead, the starting point for the Kaymoor Miners Trail and the Long Point Trail – which offers a spectacular view of the New River Gorge Bridge.

I made this trip in August-September 2017. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras – one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
